Sir Arthur C. Clarke Cracks The Tip of the Mars Iceberg

Solving The Riddle of 76P
Three solutions are available that can be used to help put this issue to rest.
- Hubble Space Telescope (HST) provides images of Mars.
- An observation proving that 76P remains intact.
- NASA provides new images of Mars and Moons from orbiting spacecraft.
NASA could have used the HST to view Mars months ago, according to YOWUSA's Dave Puckett, who investigated the abilities of the HST to determine if it could be used to image Mars.

Can Hubble See 76P Today?
Our readers are asking, "What happened to 76P and where is the comet now?" There have no reports, official or unofficial, of the
fate of the mysterious comet. In the coming weeks, Mars will be visible again to ground-based observers. But until then, the real question is, could the Hubble Space Telescope (HST) have already
imaged? Based on a recent examinations of the HST's capabilities, it is possible!
Mars reaches 50 degrees elongation from the Sun on November 24, 2000 at 11:00 UT. At this point HST will be able to view Mars with
no excuses. We will probably not see any new images of Mars well into next year, because the images must go through the "proper" channels before being released to the public.
Since NASA is refusing to use the HST to image Mars for what must be reasons other than technical impossibilities, this avenue has been effectively
ruled out. How about an independent observation of 76P?

76P Sighting Rumor Debunked
A report was recently distributed on the Internet stating that 76P had been observed in January. The report had gone through a
multitude of mail relays and lacked a specific source of the information so Glen Deen, a member of the
YOWUSA Mars SIG,
researched the report. He confirmed that this rumour was both false and misleading. Given this, and the suspicious nature of the cover-ups about the recent Northern Ireland sightings, the
troubling questions about the June 5, 2000 76P flyby of Mars remain.
This rumour could arguably represent a planted disinformation ploy given its timing. This is because this rumour follows directly on
the heals of a reported impact event over Northern Ireland earlier this month, and the subsequent cover-up of that event.
However, our ability view Mars and its moons will begin to look really good by April 15, 2001, and the optimum viewing time for
ground-based observers will be on June 15, 2001.
We hope that disinformation like this will be easy to determine from the coming opportunity that will provide independent teams to search for the truth.
The final avenue for proof is new Mars images from Malin Space Science Systems (MSSS). Since MSSS has such a close relationship to JPL and thus
the JPL Oversight Committee, we are not holding our breath waiting for these images. Unless those like Arthur C. Clarke continue to put their weight behind
this crusade of searching for life on Mars, we may never get to learn the truth in this lifetime.
In The Meantime…
Other countries around the world have begun issuing warnings about meteorite impacts to raise awareness, and sightings are rapidly on the rise. In
a recent article for YOWUSA, Jacco van der Worp reported on the danger that remains from all these significant events, especially the fireball sightings.

Comet 76P And Phobos -- The Danger Remains
…The objects must have come from the West, and approached our planet from its wake, which is the general direction where Venus is
right now. This is noteworthy, because a month after the Comet 76P flyby of Mars on June 5, 2000, Venus orbital data showed a strange ‘bump' in its orbit early July.
While there is no direct evidence that something happened, there could have been an encounter between 76P, Mars and Phobos that
could have resulted in strongly altering the trajectory of the latter and shattering it as well perhaps, into a stream of bits and chunks, the beginning of which we may just be seeing now.
How To Dismantle a Cover-up
Now that the DOD has no doubt completed the experiments they wished to conduct, the NIMA will eventually confirm that they have "found" the MPL. This
will encourage NASA to make another attempt to communicate with the spacecraft and possibly regain control if the batteries have not been worn out.
If Marshall's encryption key argument is correct, NASA could receive the new encryption key and then communication can be restabilised, at which time they
may discover that some functions have become inoperable for whatever reason they wish to disclose. The real reason will be that the DOD has
exhausted the usefulness of the facilities. The usefulness of the MPL (if reacquired) had already been reported by CNN approximately a month after the loss.

Faint Whisper From Mars Could Be Lost Lander
Mission scientists warned that in the unlikely event that they find the lost lander alive and operating, the spacecraft would never be
able to carry out its mission to search for water and ice near the red planet's south pole.
The acquisition of the spacecraft will give NASA some public credibility back, in order to build enthusiasm for their upcoming missions to Mars. In an ironic
twist of fate, Sir Arthur C. Clarke's "2001 A Space Odyssey," has been adapted by NASA into something akin to, "2001 A Mars Odyssey".

NASA Poised For 2001 Mars Odyssey
NASA scientists on Monday expressed
confidence in a powerful new orbiter scheduled to become the first spacecraft to visit the red planet since two probe disasters in 1999.
The $300 million satellite will search for water, map the surface and measure radiation levels, observations that could provide clues
about possible martian life and prove instrumental for future human visitors.
If this new Odyssey spacecraft reveals only a portion of similar revelations from Clarke's movie, then the future of truth will look bright indeed. Perhaps the "moment of truth" is now upon us.
Now that the military have a head start on learning from the intelligence gained at NASAs expense (which they were later compensated for), we may finally be
spoon-fed the truth about life on Mars.
This seemingly incredulous chain of events surrounding the Mars probes, the fly-by of comet 76P and the increase in meteor sightings, promise an
interesting and uneasy future ahead. Was the MPL and MCO really hijacked so an intelligence agency could secretly monitor the fly-by and control the flow of information about life on Mars?
The answer to that may be found on the surface of Mars many years into the future. What we have now is the appearance of a cover-up, not only of the 76P
fly-by and the loss of two Mars spacecraft, but also the recent meteorite sightings that could be the result of an event that occurred during this fly-by of Mars on June 5 2000.
So What Is The Point Here?
Sufficient evidence exists to prove that our government has not been entirely honest with us, and undoubtedly more evidence does exist.
After sitting back from looking at all the facts, NASA's involvement in all this reminds me of a childhood rhyme I once heard, "Roses are red, violets are
blue; I'm schizophrenic and so am I."
There seems to be one part of NASA that wants more than anything else in the world to tell the public what it knows, but then there is the golden rule, "he who
has the gold makes the rules." Then there are those mysterious folk who fund and control NASA. They are preventing the well-intentioned scientists within
the organization from being forthcoming with the public.
Mars could hold the answers to who we are, and what shall become of us. We may learn that we are not alone, and that we have never been alone. Perhaps
knowledge of this is frightening to those who hold power because it could reshape the very world they dominate in ways they cannot control. Or, perhaps
they simply want to control the information so that they can dominate another world as well.
However, there is also another possibility - a darker possibility. On June 5, 2000, Comet 76P flew past Mars while the planet was in conjunction (on the
opposite side of the sun). Since then, a string of incidents like the sudden disintegration of Comet S4 LINEAR has made us wonder if something is
headed our way as the result of this interaction between 76P and Mars or one of its moons.
So the point here is, now that respected men like Sir Arthur C. Clarke are asking questions, it is time for some honest answers. What we would do about
that information or whether or not we deserve it are specious arguments.because we've paid for them and the customer is always right! |
