When we first started making our shows available in the MP3 players for limited storage and low-speed Internet connections. Well, yippee! Technology has moved on we can offer larger MP3 files of past shows with significantly better quality. Thanks to the wonderful support of our paying subscribers, we've acquired powerful new audio processing software and our new high fidelity MP3 files will need more storage, but offer a clear, crisp FM radio level of quality. All new shows will offer this new level of audio quality, plus when we repeat past shows, we also update the older AM quality MP3 files.
56K Dial-up Users: How-to Download
MP3 Files without Automatic Streaming
Over 83% of our listeners use high speed connections (DSL, Cable, T3) to access the Internet. For this reason, we've tripled the size of our new subscriber MP3 files to provide FM quality in response to this new trend.
Another new trend is that most MP3-compatible players will automatically stream MP3 files as they download. The result for 56K dial-up subscribers can be a choppy MP3 streaming experience. For best results, use the save to disk feature of your web browser, to bypass the media player.
MS-Windows PC Users
Use this simple procedure to download your MP3 file without streaming.
RIGHT click on the MP3 link to display context menu.
Select the file download option. (Paid Subscribers Only)
Windows PC — Internet Explorer
Use the "Save Target As..." option
Windows PC — Firefox
Use the "Save Link As..." option
Save the MP3 file to your computer.
This will bypass the streaming feature of your media player, and the file will be transferred straight to your computer. Then enjoy!
We often received emails from people complaining about the mockery and abuse they receive from family, friends and co-workers when discussing this topic.
Our view is that this topic should never be introduced to others, until they demonstrate a geniune interest.
Nonetheless, those with a genuine interest in the topic will feel a natural urge to share their concerns about a possible threat to themselves and those close to them. Consequently, the most common questions they ask are, "where is Planet X, and what is the most likely worst case scenario?" GO
The Big Six Man-Made Catastrophic Scenarios for 2012 and Beyond — Survival Author Matthew Stein and Jacco van der Worp MSc
As moviegoers flock to see Sony's new 2012 film, critics, debunkers and cynics are spewing forth a flood of poison pen pronouncements.
Taken altogether, it is a bizarre twist on the Biblical story of Noah and the Flood — and with strikingly similar themes.
For those new to the topic of 2012, the film is great entertainment, but it also drives home an ancient failing of humanity. That the common folk are often the last to know, whether by their own choices or those made for them by wealthy and powerful elites. Ergo, many will never ask, "where will I be in 2012?" They'll just have enough time to ask, "My God, what's happening?" GO
