Bell: Now… why would they have done that, Father? Father Martin: Because… the menta-.., the attitude, mentality amongst those who at the higher levels, highest levels of Vatican administration and ****** (passing with?) geo-politics, know that, erh now, knowledge of what’s going on in space, and what’s approaching us, could be of great import in the next.. five years, ten years. Bell: Carefully and well chosen words, Father, thank you. Eerh, West of the Rockies, you’re on the air with Father Malachi Martin. Is it mere coincidence also, that the Vatican suddenly became interested in deep space objects around 1997? Now who was this “Father Martin”? Malachi Martin, eminent theologian, expert on the Catholic Church, former Jesuit and professor at the Vatican's Pontifical Biblical Institute, is the author of the national best seller, “Vatican, The Final Conclave, Hostage to the Devil, and The Jesuits.” He was trained in theology at Louvain. There he received his doctorates in Semitic Languages, Archeology and Oriental History. He subsequently studied at Oxford and at Hebrew University in Jerusalem. From 1958 to 1964 he served in Rome, where he was a close associate of the renowned Jesuit Cardinal Augustin Bea and Pope John XXIII. Martin passed away late 1999. Why would the Vatican allow one of their most esteemed astronomers to say such things in public? If the Vatican calls these “aliens” our brothers, perhaps they are indeed referring to our related creators as stated by the ancient Sumerians. Unless we are mistaken, it seems the Vice-Director of the Vatican Observatory believes there are other gods out in the universe to be heard. Is the Vatican anxiously awaiting the arrival of Nibiru and our true makers according to Sumerian texts? Bell: Eh, the… the Vatican has a very, very great deal of power.
An Argentinean Jesuit priest told an international conference in Rome last week
that he believes “extraterrestrials exist and are our brothers.” 
Similarly, I would want to let the alien be
what it is theologically, without rushing for the baptismal water. Perhaps it is better to speak of letting the alien “reveal” what it is, since Christians speak of the essence of the Christ-event as the
concentrated point of God’s “self-revelation” to human kind (Peacocke 1993, 315). But while Christ is the First and the Last Word (the Alpha and the Omega) spoken
to humanity, he is not necessarily the only word spoken to the whole universe.
