CONTOUR Overview

CONTOUR's mission design is so flexible that the spacecraft can be retargeted to intercept an unexpected cometary visitor.  The appearance of such a comet cannot be predicted in time to plan a space mission, but CONTOUR will take advantage of the opportunity if a "new" comet passes close enough to Earth's orbit.  To identify suitable candidates for a CONTOUR intercept as early as possible, the CONTOUR project will support a worldwide early warning search program for comets approaching from the fringes of the solar system.

NASA has even constructed a movie of CONTOUR intercepting this third unidentified comet.

NASA does not enjoy wasting time and money planning for events that are extremely unpredictable and likely to fail.  Does NASA know something that indicates favorable odds for discovering a new comet, or something larger?  Are they expecting an XKBO to arrive and produce more comets, thus increasing their odds of finding something important?

While Contour observes the composition of comets, Deep Impact will actually dig deep into a comet to investigate further and also test our defenses against them. 

This mission will create the first human designed and manufactured crater on a comet called Tempel1 in 2005. Despite the recent observations of Borrelly, NASA still clings to the dusty ice description of comets, knowing full well by now that many of them must have stony solid cores.

Comets are time capsules that hold clues about the formation and evolution of the solar system.  They are composed of ice and dust, which is the primitive debris from the solar system's earliest and coldest formation period - 4.5 billion years ago.  Deep Impact, a NASA Discovery Mission, will be the first space mission to probe beneath the surface of a comet and reveal the secrets of its interior.

Images from the mission will be analyzed and will contribute to the knowledge gained by other NASA and international comet missions, to better understand the solar system's formation and the implications of comets colliding with Earth. 

In early July 2005, 24 hours before impact, the flyby spacecraft will point high-precision tracking telescopes at the comet, and release the impactor on a course to hit the comet's sunlit side.

The Dawn mission is slated for launch in 2006 and is expected to orbit two asteroids in nine years.

NASA Selects Missions to Explore Two Large Asteroids and Search for Earth-like Planets

The Dawn mission will make a nine-year journey to orbit the two most massive asteroids known as, Vesta and Ceres, two "baby planets" very different from each other yet both containing tantalizing clues about the formation of the solar system. Using the same set of instruments to observe these two bodies, both located in the main asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter, Dawn will improve our understanding of how planets formed during the earliest epoch of the solar system.

Possibly the most important mission for discovering an XKBO will be New Horizons.  This mission will launch in 2006 and arrive at Pluto between 2016 and 2018.

New Horizons - The Mission

The Pluto-Kuiper Belt Mission will help us understand worlds at the edge of our solar system by making the first reconnaissance of Pluto and Charon - a "double planet" system and the last in our solar system to be visited by spacecraft.  The mission will then visit one or more Kuiper Belt Objects, in the region beyond Neptune.

Perhaps this satellite will be able to observe an XKBO on the way towards Pluto.  Another mission already launched with approximately 900 days left until at reaches its final destination of Saturn, is Cassini.  Is Cassini also going to be used as an early warning system by observing any XKBO's as they approach the outer solar system? Or, could it help locate an already known XKBO more precisely, along with its trajectory? 

All these missions have been grouped together into a special project called the "Discovery Program". The underlying goals of this program yield possibly coincidental, but perhaps a very important clue to the current behavior of the government and NASA.

The Space Science Enterprise Strategic Plan published by NASA in November 1997 addresses the concept of cosmic Origins, Evolution, and Destiny - how the universe began, how life on Earth originated, and what fate awaits our planet and our species. All that we do in space science is part of a quest to understand our cosmic origins and destiny, and how these are linked by cycles of evolution.

Is it mere coincidence that this program was developed around the same time that Australia ditched its NEO efforts, and will be ready by the time new strict government guidelines will be put into place?

Amongst this vast project base for space exploration lays a search for understanding of the origins of our solar system and human kind. With this knowledge they are attempting to determine our destiny.  According to Sitchin, our Destiny lies in the hands of an XKBO, which may be getting closer to Earth. 

Surprisingly, the Summerian gods also concerned themselves with our destiny and their involvement in it. In Sitchin's latest book he describes our destiny as being determined by our past.

In dealing with the past, Enki himself perceived the future.  The notion that the Anunnaki, exercising free will, were masters of their own fates (as well as the fate of Mankind) gave way, in the end, to a realization that it was Destiny that, when all was said and done, determined the course of events; and therefore - as the Hebrew Prophets had recognized - the First Things shall be the Last Things.

The first religion of the first civilization on Earth knew about the XKBO that is Nibiru.  Now it seems a major religion of today is also very interested.
