Health Care Reform and 2012 — Where's the Beef?

The Other Shoe Drops

The other shoe is the collapse of the American dollar.  "My gosh that could never happen," you say.  It did to Germany's Weimar Republic and the result was Adolf Hitler and the Nazi scourge. 

When we see the Republican leadership egging on protesters to commit despicable acts, then disingenuously disassociate themselves days later,  many wonder what will come next?  Another night of the long knives? 

Likewise, gutless Democrats do not get a pass either, because this stall is just one more installment in a planned takeover of America by elites ─ and they're winning.

Yet, when the next shoe falls, it will not be health care.  It will be our currency, which is standing upon a precipice as though we're one more crisis away from becoming a Greece or Spain on steroids. 

The simple fact is that any fractional reserve system, ours included, will eventually hit a ceiling. That's when we begin printing money like drunken sailors so that elites can buy whatever they want at deeply depressed prices.   

This is currency manipulation by design and eventually the dollar will become so unreliable that many Americans, will begin trading dollars for other currencies.  It will be no different than in struggling nations where citizens keep small amounts of local currency on hand to purchase food and pay bills, but then keep their savings in another currency.

One such alternate currency and the most likely candidate for America will be the Amero. The planned currency of the North America Union, a cobbled together regional hegemony fashioned out of Canada, the USA and Mexico.

At best, the Amero will be a bitter pill, as people will see the value of their savings and loans decimated in much the same way that Russians did in years just after the fall of the Soviet empire. For example, I remember a day in St. Petersburg, Russia during the early 90's, when I entertained business associates at a working lunch

Afterward, I visited the family of a friend and they asked about the cost of our working lunch.  I told them how much I paid and then the wife handed me the family's savings account passbook.  I was shocked and terribly embarrassed.

It had taken them eighteen years of scrimping and saving, to accumulate the same number of Rubles I'd spent for lunch that day. Where did the value of the money go?  Just count the number of billionaire oligarchs in Russia these days.

This is what happens when elites manipulate currencies and our turn is coming next. Laugh if you wish but remember this.  America has its own oligarchs as well and they're every bit as voracious as those in Russia.

Ergo, what's coming, is the end of the United States of America as we know it. Once the dollar plummets our triple-A rating will morph into a junk bond rating.  Then we'll be in a world of hurt with no truly believable way out.  In the process, home values will plummet, businesses will shutter, and gardening will be a way to stay alive for more Americans than ever before. In short, things will become very bleak.

Then the elites will then be in a position to roll out the next stage of their plan. To merge the United States into a new hegemonic state called the North American Union.  

People will be so shaken and beaten down, they'll listen as they're promised a return to normalcy and security by exchange what they can of their inflated dollars for the Amero. It will be the only option as the banks will be legally barred from trading in other currencies until such a time as the dollar been completely liquidated.

How we are being set up for tragedy boggles the mind.  By the end of 2011, going into the early part of 2012, we will be suffering economic chaos as a result of catastrophic Earth changes and engineered failures.

What few safety nets we now have, whatever safe harbors we may think are open to us, these too will disappear.  Then once again, we shall know poverty as it was during the Great Depression. 

In answer to the panic, we will be offered safe haven in a new North American Union, and remaining treasure will be plundered without mercy and that is when the elites will play the bait.  What bait? 

The Health Care Bait

Elites will offer free health care for all to a nation that has now come expect a basic level of health care rights at a time when many will be skipping mortgage payments to keep up with their artificially high costs.  Again, it will be better than nothing, but by how much?

We've heard a great deal about the Canadian and European models for socialized medicine.  Say what you want, but the citizens of these countries have no interest in adopting the American model of health care. 

Rather, we'll be sold something that sounds like Canada or Europe, but what we will actually receive will be more akin to post Soviet Union style socialized health care in Russia.

To put that in perspective, I can tell you about a doctor I knew in St. Petersburg.  He saw me through a bad bought of influenza and I asked him what I could do to show my appreciation.  He asked me to mail him a set of  thermal body underwear, to help him stay warm in his hospital.  When I visited his hospital I understood why.

In order to save money, the heat was turned down so low that patients had to remove mattresses from unoccupied beds, and mount them against the windows for insulation from the cold.  This is why it does not matter, whether our eventual healthcare solution is formulated by Democrats or Republicans, as neither (despite whatever protestations you may hear) is calling the shots. Who is?

The same people who used Wall Street to siphon the wealth of the middle class and who are now using the present health system to do the same. 

The same people who spend 86 million dollars to make sure their plan was enacted into law.  This begs the question, what can we do?

Home Based Healthcare

If we use education as a model, what we are seeing is that families all across the country have given up on failed public institutions.  Instead of voting for politicians of both parties who eventually get bought out or compromised by special interests before they can actually make good their brags, let's use the homeschooling their kids model. 

Why, because this is 2010 and there is no more time for change we can believe in or any other disingenuous noises from either party.  Peggy Noonan is right.  "We live in a time of failing institutions."  This is because the only thing that is truly succeeding right now is greed.

If we are wise and use this self-help approach to health care, we'll at least have something that is genuinely better than nothing, and not just another political placebo.

Simply put, those who can hear the future, further than we can see as my friend Larry could must explore home-based remedies and alternate therapies as never before. Not in two or three years from now, but beginning right now.

Yes modern medicine is fabulous and can do amazing things. That is assuming your company can afford it or that you're rich enough or poor enough to get it.  However, if you're in the "sorry Charlie" middle, the future is about less, not more. This is the new reality for this time.

Americans like to think that we still have pioneering fortitude, but do we still have the moral strength to spend months in a Conestoga wagon, eating trail dust and staring at the backend of draft animals month after month?  

Do we think we can still bite down on a stick while a friend nervously stitches our wound with an old sewing needle and freshly plucked horse hair?  Do we really have the stones to do that? Yes we do, when the need arises.

The Bottom Line

This whole health care reform is a carrot and the donkey charade. A Faustian bargain engineered by the very people who crave the power of gods.  

Democrats and Republican can both sling  snow shovels loaded with dung at each other all they please as they both played a role in creating the same debacle.  Therefore, the bottom line here is not to be distracted.

Now you must assume the personal responsibility for your own health and well-being in a way you could have never imagined before. You must find ways to maintain your health so that you do not find yourself one day in a North American Union Hospital, where patients will have to press mattresses against the windows to keep warm.

Above all, never lose hope.  The elites will eventually lose as they always have throughout history.  History teaches that empires always follow the same cycle.

They rise up because the common man shares a dream and then as the wealthy and powerful steal it from them, the empire loses its vitality and resiliency. 

Brittle from stupid, shortsighted greed, it encounters a difficulty that in its heyday would have been easily surmountable and collapses.  The result is a redistribution of poverty for all, after which the cycle stars all over again.  It is the way of history ─ so far.

2012 offers the possibility for humankind to finally end of this brutal and self-defeating cycle of greed and exploitation. A time when we leave the dysfunctional ...isims of these times behind us.

What this post 2012 looks like is yet to be written, but we will evolve and survive and elites who use our institutions to siphon away that which is not theirs, will find no traction in this new world.  They will become irrelevant.

Yes, they will become irrelevant and they know it.  They fear it.  It is why they are so reckless in what they now do, for they know the truth of the matter.  That the story of humanity is like a book of many chapters. Make no doubt of it. This is their chapter, but as with all chapters, it is coming to an end.

They also know that regardless of their self-serving schemes and machinations, the next chapter will be written by the meek who inherit the Earth. Not the meek as defined in the present sense.  Rather, check your dictionary for the "old" definition.  

One day, the dust will clear and the new chapter will be penned.  In this new chapter, doctors and nurses will be free to do what most, love above all else. To practice medicine with compassion and all the wisdom they possess.  

They may not have all the gadgets and drugs as they now do, but they will endeavor to help us in any way they can, and in new ways.  Ways rooted in wisdom of the past, so that we may enjoy good health as our Creator intended. 

Until that next chapter is written, we must bridge the hardships to come by becoming be more responsible for ourselves and the health of our bodies than ever before.  Like the man said, "this isn't radical reform, but it is major reform."
