The Virtues of the Best Prophets and Harbingers
The interpretation of visions of future timelines is always subject to the paradigm of the experiencer. Experiencers can inject religious and
philosophical dogma into their experiences and skew the visions. Alternatively, the best experiencers make a conscious effort to faithfully retell
their experiences without hidden agendas and as they came to them.
The truly objective experiencer does not use the vision to validate a conviction or belief, nor to support a previous prediction made by someone
else. He or she realizes that, while visions can focus on common timeline, each is unique, to be interpreted according to its own merits.
True visions are not prejudicial. They do not favor or punish one group of people with a common point of view over another, as a way of justifying that point of view.
So then, what does this teach us about prophecy and visions with regards to the troubling times of the present? Or more specifically:
- What is prophecy about, and what lessons are there to be learned from prophecy?
- Are we to learn only the predictions, themselves or are there greater lessons to be learned from the words of the prophets?
- Are prophecies to be fulfilled at any cost or should harbingers do all they can to warn the population and bring about necessary change?
But the real question is, do we have time to learn?
The Lesson of Prophecy About Our Times
Many prophecies tell us that we will soon undergo a terrible tribulation that could destroy our civilizations, leaving one in ten to survive to a new golden
age. A consistent theme in many of these golden age prophecies is that we will develop our extrasensory abilities and that we will build a new age of harmony through our evolved 6th sense.
Given that evolution is a slow incremental process with sudden bumps along the way, perhaps the visions of past generations are a crude precursor to
the new extrasensory abilities we will acquire in the post-historic world. Perhaps this is why prophecy is an incredible journey full of shocking
surprises and promising paths that lead us into dead ends and black holes at times. Why, because we who read them tend to over rationalize the message.
A good example of this comes from a passage from a child's bedtime story about a little witch called Little Skitch, paints a good mental image that truly defines the prophetic process as we understand it today.
"We follow the yellow brick road and meet munchkins and good witches and bad witches. We walk through enchanted forests and learn about thinking, feeling and having a heart."
As rational beings, we often try to categorize people as mindless munchkins, good witches and bad witches because we want to stereotype others. This is a pity, because so many good messages are lost in this
needless maze of elaborate interpretations and personalities.
Worse yet, this causes us to overlook the real purpose of prophesy, which is to guide into the more positive course of action through thinking, feeling and having a heart.
- Thinking -- being aware of precursors gives us a chance to avoid a catastrophic timeline by thinking clearly and by using our free will. If
the precursors are avoided, then so may be the catastrophic timeline. However, we must remember that a catastrophe may span multiple timelines and may vary in severity within each timeline.
- Feeling -- sensation, rather than emotion. We have five natural senses and at least once sense that can be considered supernatural.
Some call this sense intuition or psychic ability while others call it their spirit, which they believe is able to "communicate" with a divine
source. The best prophets are able to open a part of themselves to this "communication," then "translate" it, using the five natural senses, into a message that people can understand.
- Having a Heart -- compassion, mercy, sometimes "tough love." The best prophets are not only aware of the process leading to a possible
catastrophe, but also aware of the source of that message and the reason that they received it. Did they receive these messages for their own benefit, for the benefit of those close to them, or were the
messages meant for everybody?
Prophetic messages were meant for everyone's benefit, not that of a select few. The best prophets realize that and will do anything in their power to get
the warnings out while making them as easy to understand as possible. When necessary, prophets must be willing and able to shake their audiences up out of their comfortable sofas and reclining chairs and into
action!
We see the Middle East erupting into increasingly deadly violence. We see the two largest nations in the world, Russia and China, signing a pact that
they say will bring balance to the world, though the reality of that will most likely be quite different. Either of these events alone can lead to the
bloodiest world war ever. Together, they could bring about the nearly total destruction that has been predicted by so many prophets over the
centuries! Especially if these catastrophic events become part of a natural and man-made negative feedback loop of global catastrophe.
It Is Up To Each Of Us
"I'm a little guy," we lament. "Even if I become aware, how can I make a difference?" If this sounds familiar, what you're hearing is the echo of timeworn excuse. "Nonsense" you say!
It was just a few years ago that people would go to a bank or a mortgage broker and sit nervously in front of an impressive wood desk and quietly hope for the best deal on their new home mortgage.
Would the interest rate be good? Would the points be minimal? Would they demand a larger down payment? Whatever the answers were to those
questions would come from people who had power over you by virtue of your own ignorance.
Pleasant smiles aside, they knew when you were getting a raw deal, as they slide the papers across their desk at you, all the time assuring you that it
was the best deal available. You had no choice. You wanted a house and they controlled your access to funding information.
Now, let's fast forward to this very moment in time. TODAY!
You want to buy a house. "No problemo."
Get on the Internet and surf around for a mortgage.
Guess what, lenders now have to compete for your
business — what a novel idea. No points — no
problem. Low interest rates — sure. Small down
payment — it can be worked out.
Did all this happen because one little guy said this is unacceptable? No.
This happened because a lot of little guys bought home computers and signed up for Internet access. One little uniformed guy is a powerless
sucker. A lot of informed little guys represent a formidable force for change!
The key here is to become informed. But does this mean watching the news on TV? No. Our broadcast and cable network news shows avoid this kind of coverage because it does not sell soap.
A cursory look at our typical network news coverage will tell you that. We are being constantly bombarded with All Monica -- All The Timestyle news
coverage with 30-second hard news stories squeezed in towards the end of the broadcasts. This is because it is more about new entertainment than hard news.
The number alternative source of information today is the Internet. The six major corporations who run the majority of our entertainment news outlets
tell us that the Internet is huge source of disinformation. Simply put, that self-serving proposition is disinformation defined!
The Internet offers us insights to what is happening today. Reach out and look at what is happening and then take action. Talk with friends. Share links, and share your research.
Think about this. Did Jesus, Moses, or Buddha employ press agents and spinmeisters? Did they issue press releases? No! Yet, look at the far-reaching effects of their simple messages.
Simple honest ideas, when carried by a chorus of little voices can change the world. History proves it!
If we are able to change timelines in time to avoid the coming tribulations and disasters, we must begin immediately to shock and shake everyone out
of their comfortable lives and convince them to start thinking, feeling and having a heart!
