Given the new relations between Russia and China, Russia has supplied China with supersonic nuclear cruise missiles designed specifically to
destroy American aircraft carriers. According to the Navy's top admirals, "we have no defense against these weapons."
Given China's aggressive handling of the EP3 surveillance airplane incident, it is clear that the militarists in China's government have gained
strength and have openly stated on several occasions that they anticipate a war with America and that they intend to use nuclear weapons when such a war begins.
If this happens, the devastation will be global and all will suffer. How odd it is that the visions of an English woman from the 13th century would parallel
those of a Hopi elder from the American Southwest living in the last century.
We also see war brewing in the Middle East, in various parts of Europe in addition to the Straits of Taiwan.
Now that autumn is fast approaching, the temperatures in the Middle East will soon favor a drastic escalation of combat between Israel and its Arab neighbors.
The Summer of Blood Fulfilled
Last spring, YOWUSA published an article that outlined a five-step escalation process to be most likely followed in the Middle East. So far, the
escalation has proceeded exactly as foreseen -- and regrettabley so.
At the time this article was written, Israel and the Palestinians were already embroiled in a minor war that had escalated from the original Intifada with the murder of little 10-month old Shalhevet Pass.

The Next Middle East War Has Already Begun! Five Stages to World War With the events of this weekend, the situation has passed the point of no return, because the Middle East
is on the verge of entering the third stage of a five-stage process. A process that many feel could provoke another World War if it continues unchecked.
Stage 1 - Open Defiance The first stage began with the start of the Al-Aqsa Intifada on September 29, 2000. Rocks, pistols, rifles
and homemade bombs were used during this stage. Casualties and fatalities were intermittent. Stage 2 — Use of Squad Level Infantry Weapons The first stage ended and the second stage began shortly after the murder of ten-month old Shalhevet Pass on March 26, 2001. After that time, combatants
began using high-powered sniper rifles, more sophisticated bombs, 82-mm mortars and anti-tank weaponry. Casualties and fatalities began to occur in small numbers on a daily basis. Stage 3 — A Summer of Blood Now that recommendation has been made by the Arab League to sever political ties with Israel, the Middle
East will very shortly enter the third stage of this five-stage process.
 In this stage, the Palestinians will begin using weapons capable of destroying
means of public transportation as well as military vehicles. Such weapons could include: Land mines, SA-7 Strella anti-aircraft missiles, and Katyusha rockets. The goal of this stage
is not to take ground. Rather, it is to inflict large numbers of Israeli casualties on a daily basis.
Such attacks will provoke immediate retaliation by
Ariel Sharon and with a great loss of Palestinian life. However, the PA must pay the dearest price in human life to demonstrate its determination to Arab League leaders that they will suffer whatever it takes
to kill Israeli civilians on a large-scale basis. Simply put, this means a summer of bloodshed on a sustained level never seen before. The Arab League states will spend the summer watching and planning with great attention. However, they will not become directly involved until the fall. This is
because the summer heat is hard on heavy armor and ground troops, especially when they must cover long distances.
A mere two weeks after this article was published, 22 Israelis were killed in a suicide bomb blast at the Dolphinarium Beach Club. From that time until
the present, numerous suicide attacks have been perpetrated against Israelis. With Israeli retaliatory assaults and the August 10, 2001 blast that
killed 15 innocent victims in Sbarro's Pizzeria in the center of Jerusalem, this has truly been a "Summer of Blood" in the Middle East.
With autumn and cooler temperatures just around the corner, we see increasing trouble for this already beleaguered part of the world.

The Next Middle East War Has Already Begun!
Continued… Stage 4 — The Regional Conflict Begins Unless a peaceful settlement to this crisis is reached over the summer, we could witness another escalation in
early autumn. After the summer weather in the Middle East cools, those Arab states committed to joining with the Palestinians will begin moving their armored divisions into place. Since most Arab League members use Russian made heavy armor and artillery, they will likewise use Russian tactics and their massed attacks on Israel in the
autumn will closely resemble Soviet Cold War-era tactics, where a technically superior enemy force is overwhelmed by a tank army with overwhelming numbers.
 A constant thorn in the relations between the Soviet Union and NATO was the deployment of medium range nuclear missiles designed to counter the threat of being
overwhelmed by a tank army.
Given that conservative estimates place Israel's current nuclear arsenal at 200+ nuclear missiles, the
conflict could go nuclear if Israel feels that it is their last option in the face of an overwhelming tank army. For this reason, the Arab League states will attempt
smaller assaults in the hope of capturing vital ground without provoking a nuclear strike.
Have we passed the definitive point after which we can no longer prevent the Middle East war from taking that fifth and final step toward World War 3? Many people believe that we have.
If this conflict is allowed to continue and to escalate much further, we could be witness to the dire events predicted by Mother Shipton, White Feather and others so long ago.

Continued… Stage 5 — World Powers Become Involved As the situation escalates, Russia and then China will be drawn into the conflict. Also, the U.S. and Great
Britain will supply Israel and its allies (if it has any) with arms, equipment and supplies prior to actually committing themselves to the war effort as well.
 With the possibility of regional nuclear war, America will move to protect its oil interests in the area by
providing protection to all oil tankers under the U.S. flag as it has in the past.
However, these tankers could then be subject to
surprise torpedo attacks. In this case, the most likely suspect would be Iran with its Russian-made Kilo class submarines, which are capable of several miles of submerged silent running. Once these attacks sufficiently interrupt the international oil trade, complete economic chaos will soon follow. Russia will move in for the kill and
China will attack on several fronts, including Taiwan and possibly the United States. The possibilities are endless and frightening. But more importantly, they seem prophetic.
These prophetic warnings are being fulfilled with unnerving accuracy and frequency. They beg us to become aware, but aware of what? The answer
awaits us somewhere between an understanding of the prophetic process of the past, and events as they are unfolding today.
The Process of Prophecy
While there are many different theories about prophecy, this purpose of this article is to suggest that prophecy warns us of possible catastrophic events in current and future time lines.
This is why predictions of many prophets and visionaries consistently employ a three-step process to issue the warning.
- Timeline Precursors -- signs that show us that a given path will take us through a catastrophe. These warning signs if heeded, may help us to choose another path to delay, mitigate or completely avoid a
catastrophe.
- Catastrophic Event -- description of the catastrophic event within the timeline.
- Post-Historic Conclusion -- what will happen after the catastrophe; what the survivors can reasonably expect until the next timeline is reached.
Of course, there are those who believe that the future is already written while others believe that we have the ability to change the future by using
prophecy to recognize the signs that we are on a catastrophic time line, so that we can avoid that catastrophe by taking preventative action. In this vein,
the best prophecies of catastrophe are those we do not allow to become fulfilled.
But if we are to take the warnings of harbingers to heart, which ones can we trust with any measure of confidence?
